Core Projects
Agroforestry
The interplay of agriculture and trees, particularly the utilisation of trees for agricultural purposes, is known as agroforestry. This includes farming in forests and along forest borders, tree-crop cultivation, including cocoa, coffee and oil palm, as well as trees on farms and in agricultural landscapes. In fields (where trees and crops are grown together), on farms (where trees may provide fodder for livestock, energy, food, shelter, or income from products including timber), and in landscapes (where agricultural and forest land uses combine to determine the provision of ecosystem services), interactions between trees and other agricultural components may be significant at various scales. We select a few varieties of plants that we apply in our project including; coffee (mainly Arabica under shade-tree), cacao tree, ginger, rattan, galangal.

” I got the opportunity to volunteer with this green development initiative for a week, and I can see that they are genuinely concerned about the environment and work hard to stop deforestation.”

“This astounding experience I will never forget the opportunity we had to discover new concepts for assisting the environment and people during a brief visit to their responsible coffee farm with a homestay in a small village, we wish you guys the best of luck and looking forward to visit and test your organic coffee.”

“We travelled to Luang Namtha in September 2022, for our research study, and the kind project staff arranged for us to see their environmentally friendly farming with locals. We can honestly say that this project is one of our favourites, and we also learned some new farming techniques. We all agree that their contributions are meaningful with long future.”
